A Sudden Trip To Northern Areas
In the middle of the
summer, when i was on the verge of loosing my temper as always because of
the hot and moist weather, one of my friends hit me up asking if I wanted
to go on a trip to northern areas, I jumped out of excitement and replied
to him with “of course yes scene on boys”. Then i asked him where were we
heading to and he told me about the trip plan. We were going to Kaghan and
Narran.
The trip was of 4 days
starting from one Saturday, I was extremely happy as summers had me
exhausted and lazy. I just had one day to pack up my stuff. The next day I
packed up my bag with all my new outfits along with my winter collection all
all. Finally, we headed out for our journey at 9 pm in the night. We were
five people all together. We set our first stop at Lahore but we decided
to stay every city but this plan failed. Then, Finally we reached at Lahore,
were we decided to stay there for an hour and then head for our journey
again. We drank our tea, and then again headed out for our journey at 7 am.
The view became more beautiful as we
reached Murree. The fresh and cold air really made me so contented. It all
felt so good and thrilling. We stopped in a cafe in Murree to eat
something because we all are foodies. It all seemed so beautiful as we were
having our chargah looking at the mountains and the lush green trees and
grass. We headed out again and decided our last stop to be at Kaghan. Due to weather condition, roads were
blocked and we stuck in a traffic about 3 to 4 hours. Luckily, we find a tea
stall. We enjoy tea along with some snacks. Then we move towards our destiny.
Due to poor infrastructure of roads, we got out car tyer punctured. And we
don’t find any mechanic shop. Every one is in so tension but luckily, we have
another tyer in our car. So, we change the tyer. It
took us quite a while to reach there and we were all very tired.
We reached there at
about 12 am in the night. On reaching there we booked our hotel as soon
as possible and spent the night there. The hotel room was cozy, warm
and comfortable. We all had an exhausting journey so we slept. As the
sun rises, it’s beautiful rays spread on my face forcing my eyes to open.
The first thing I did was that i headed out to see the beautiful view and
taking some snaps for my snapchat fam. The lush green trees, the blue sky,
the cold breeze the cold shivers, I got it was all worth it, far more
beautiful than city area. I was so exhausted from all the work so this was
a much needed trip for me. We all had our breakfast which was extremely
mouthwatering. We had pancakes with chocolate syrup and coffee. I was so
excited to go out and discover the beautiful places here.
We went to the Saif -ul- Maluk lake. Which was
extremely beautiful and worth it to watch. It took us a while to reach
there but it was all worth it. We had Barbecue
there at night. It was all extremely eye pleasing it was late so we came
home at night. I remember touching the water it was so soulful. We also
had coffee there standing in front of the lake. We took some pretty cool
pictures there. When I look at those pictures even today, I go back to
those beautiful memories again. We reached the hotel room and my friends
all slept as they were tired but I went outside in the terrace to do star
gazing, I remember the sky being full of stars. It was so beautiful seeing
it after a long time as in the city area we barely get time to see stars
because of pollution.
The next morning we
decided to stay in our area for exploring that area. We
start walking, about an hour ago we see a very beautiful view where we capture
our pictures and group photos, we also just start making snaps for Instagram.
One of my friend, who is very addicted to Tiktok videos start making his videos
with me. He lost his concern and slip down due to slippery road and his foot
bleakly hit to the hard stone. He got serious injury. Even his mobile phone
fell down and the screen is full cracked. We don’t have any first aid kit and
we are so far from our motel. Also, mobile phone signals were not detectable.
And my friend is unable to move by his own self. So, we decided to move back.
After a while an old man came and we told him a whole incident. He is in his
way to offer namaz. He told us that his house is almost five minutes away. We
went with him to his house. Where he gives bandage to my friend and also serve some
biscuits to us. We spent 2 hours there and move back when our friend get
stable.
After having a terrible day, Me
and my friends decided to go home back, then we just lunch packed all our
stuff and headed for our home at 7 pm. On our way back we again had dinner
at a hotel. The journey back was so long because we stopped at so many places
for our injured friend but some how this was beautiful as the journey
here. We listened to some songs together and had a lot of fun. It was sad
going back to our places. But it was one hell of a journey and we had an
extremely good time. I wish we planned some more plans like this.
