And there are some points about Newspaper which are given below

It is one of the great source of information in the shape of entertainment, because magazine press utilize the picture form in order to attract the reader’s mind , mostly it is published weekly or monthly and target the specific client, they used informal language mostly they use idiomatic words and along with lots of pictures.

Magazine’s writing is on personal opinion not so much facts. They use fair way of writing, there is specific information in magazine like sports, film industry, Food, and medicine and long articles are included.

Magazine's paper is concerned with sterling quality. Quality of pictures is used here because to attract the attention of reader so that readers can read full paragraph.

There is low frequency of publication, even most of the time it is published after six months or year. There is fun always to attract the readers, there is scope of entertainment, May not have large staff.

TOPIC # 1:

How to find internships?

What is internship?

Internship is the position of the student who works in an organization, sometimes without pay, in order to gain work experience or satisfy requirements for a qualification.

How to get an internship?

Firstly, think about the skills and experience you currently possess, and which positions you might be a good fit for based on that information. The most common misconceptions must apply to every position of internship that catches their eyes.

Ways to find internship.

A few ways to narrow down which internships are right for you:

·         Everything is for you.

·         Your skills.

·         Experience.

·         Your major subject.

·         Identify transferable skills.

·         Explore your interests.

·         Start small.

·         Visit job sites.

·         Use your university’s career Resources.

·         Leverage Your Network.

·         Contact Companies Directly.

*CONSIDER YOUR EXPERIENCE: Your previous work experience. A student working at a campus newspaper might consider a journalism internship, while a student who tutors for a statistics class may want to look at data science internships.

*THINK ABOUT YOUR SKILLS: Look up for your major.

*IDENTIFY TRANSFERABLE SKILLS: Skills that help you succeed in school or in the student organizations you participate in such as organization, critical thinking and time management will all be useful in the working world.

Some quick research should reveal which jobs require these skills.

*EXPLORE YOUR INTERESTS: With how much time you spend at work, you want to make sure you enjoy it! Write down a few career fields that interest you, and search internships in those areas.

*START SMALL: Start by exploring small local organizations, groups affiliated with your school or volunteer work in order to bolster your resume.

*KNOW WHERE TO LOOK: Only you have a more concrete idea of which internships would be the right fit, it’s time to see what’s out there! Here’s how you can do that.

*VISIT JOB SITES: Websites, so you ‘re bound to find something that’s right for you. You can search for the internship titles you’re interested in, and narrow results down by location, size, industry, company ratings and more.

*TAKE ADVANTAGE OF SOCIAL MEDIA: Make sure you follow companies you’d love to work for. Most organizations nowadays post information about available internships on their social media profiles.

*GO TO JOB FAIRS: Career and internship fairs can also be invaluable, as they allow you to connect face-to-face with hiring decision –makers. Go late to the event to get more time with hiring managers.

*CONNECT COMPANIES DIRECTLY: If you have a dream company in mind, but they don’t have any relevant internships, you can always try writing them a letter of interest in hopes that they will either contact you when one opens or even create a new one for you. It’s more of a longshot than applying directly, but you’ll never know if you don’t try.

Precise: Headline should be short and give complete sense.

Provoking: The news should initiate reader to critically analyze the issue.

Personalized: It means your creativity and your wisdom should be reflected by the news. It does not mean that you should add your point of views in the news.

 Newspaper & Magazine:

Newspaper could also be a publication which is published or issued at regular intervals of some time. If we glance back within the days when Newspapers were precious so as that they were usually issued Daily or weekly & more often semi-weekly (twice a week) & monthly. Newspapers are usually printed on low-price sheets that’s why newspapers were and still are cheap than a Magazine. Newspapers mostly contain current news and articles are short, with relevant and to the aim information. Language within the newspaper is formal , mostly. The pattern or design of newspaper isn't attractive or eye catching. .It is ruled toward a general audience will get news about politics, crime, wars, economics -just about anything that might interest a general reader. In view of historical background of Newspapers; Newspapers were printed on cheap paper, "newsprint", that attended degrade fairly quickly. By the 20 th century, magazines were increasingly printed on clay coated paper. Newpaper prefers “Clay Coated Papers “ for newsprint for printing of photographs and other kinds of illustrations, especially color illustrations. If we mention Magazines, magazines are published weekly month and more often yearly. Magazines have more eye-catching designs and have bigger pictures of fashion wears, cooking, tourism spots, etc as compared to newspapers. Magazines are more costly than newspapers. Magazines have long articles with the introduction of writer and have different topics of articles as compared to newspapers. They contain information about technology, new devices, new fashion wears, cars, tourism spots, etc. Pakistan’s hottest magazines were The Herald & Newsline Magazine, they published their last edition back in 2018-19 .  Difference Between Newspaper & Magazine

Newspaper and magazine both had the same aim, purpose and features. Newspaper had short articles on current news or political issues while the magazine had long article in a variety of subject. Both are belongs from same field and had similar work, keep the audience updated.

Magazine: Magazine is a periodic publication that content information on different subjects such as fashion, sports, health, technology, and finance. The magazine may not be published frequently they can be weekly or monthly both, Magazine was informal with lots of picture and had different layout which was becomes cause of attraction.   Magazine have specific content such as fashion, medicine and sports with long article, magazine targeted the specific audience based on information being provided.Magazine have a complex design with an aim of catching the reader’s eye, they are quite more expensive then newspaper and they used high quality paper in a large number another thing about magazine is they contain pictures of celebrities, fashionable wear and latest cars or devices. Magazine uses informal language and is fun to read. A creative flair & innovative skill may help in producing masterpieces and also in creating an everlasting impression on reader’s eye.
