ALL PAKISTAN TOUR WITH FRIENDS
The memorable moments of life are those which are
spent with our close friends, these moments live in our minds for rest of our
life, we find out real character of people while traveling with them.
All of us planed a
trip for ourselves but due to some issues few of our friends pulled out of it
for personal reasons, but rest of us were excited and really wanted to go. We
didn't want this trip to be cancelled at any cost.
So, all of us
decided to travel next month. Everyone was eager to go and no one wanted to
miss it, we all got permission from our families, so finally our trip was
planned to start on 05 July 2019.
All of my friends
along with Rahat Sadiq faqir my dear friend, who is very good at singing
reached at Hyderabad station around 10 am on 05th July. But due to the delay
the train reached around 12 pm and the train departed from station at 12: 15
pm, few of our friends joined in from other stations. We were very excited and
having a lot of fun with each other. There were some minor problems while
travelling, but we were having fun and ignoring it.
It was around 7:00
pm when we reached Rohri station, almost every train stops there. This whole
scenario reminded me of my childhood when I mostly travelled to Rawalpindi from
Hyderabad with my family and get refresh at this station.
The next day after long journey we arrived at
Rawalpindi station and moved towards Islamabad by a APV van. We had our
breakfast and I ate one of my most favorite dish, Nihari. Then we went to the
Sindh house Islamabad. We stayed there for a little while, few hours later we
were ready to move towards Islamabad, the capital and one of the most beautiful
cities of Pakistan. Its infrastructure, traffic system and the scenery was
unbelievable. The literacy rate of the
population there was very high.
Then we reached at Lake
View Park. It was a great park, from here you can view the mountains of bani
gala, our Prime Minister Imran khan Niazi lives there. After that we moved
towards Pakistan monument, a very beautiful place, you could view the buildings
of the biggest Tv channels, the parliament house etc. There were museums about
Muhammad Ali Jinnah, where you could get to know about his live.
Then we went to
visit Faisal mosque, which is the biggest mosque of Pakistan, then we went to
Monal Restaurant. The way to the restaurant is very dangerous with twists and
turns. I experienced It was a very expensive place to eat; I was charged 500
for a Pineapple juice. Minimum cost of dinner was expected be 10k, after that
we came back to our hotel room and then took some rest there.
The next day in the
morning everyone got ready and had breakfast and. There were two cars ready to
pick us. We moved to northern areas. Our first stop was Abbotabad. Had our
lunch with famous and delicious Chapli kabab. Visited Balakot and reached at
Shoghran and visited Siri Paye, this place is on a mountain around 10000 feet
from sea level. With very dangerous routes I felt like our jeep was going to
roll over the side of the mountain. This spot had cloud beneath it. It felt
like being on the sky. After that we moved to kaghan and had dinner at Laalazar
hotel, where we arranged a musical gathering, Rahat Sadiq Faqeer performed his
art brilliantly and made us enjoy with his melodious voice, after the gathering
was end, we had a peacful sleep.
The next day around
6 30 am we all got ready to go to the Abshaar café which was located in between
a flowing stream. It was freezing water. We sat barefooted in that weather. Our
slippers were in our hands. our feet numbed. We had coffee there and took some
pictures and went back to the hotel to get fresh. Then we went to Babusar top. This
is one of the most beautiful places, covered with ice and on a height of 14000
feet the routes to Babusar close at 5 pm for security and safety of people.
Then we went to Hunza, stayed there and had dinner at hotel Burj ul Alam. the
prices at hunza were exorbitant, one plate Biryani costed 700 rupees. Then we
moved to our hotel and went to bed.
We woke up with a
very beautiful morning at Hunza I came out of my room and looking at the sky
touching hills covered with snow and the lush green valley. That day due to
inappropriate weather the roads were blocked, we did not leave Hunza and
visited its market. Everyone wore dresses according to their choice; I wore cotton
Shalwar Kameez and Sindhi Ajrak and Topi. I saw beautiful scenes and natural
beauty there. I experienced people of
the region were very honest, I lost my Cell phone at a place after quite a
while i realized i had lost my Cell phone, immediately I called on my number
and someone attended my call and told me to come to a shop, where i went and he
handed over my cell phone to me.
It was the rule of
that market that all shop owners will do their own work. No one will hire
employee. So, everyone helped each other. Mostly literate people were there and
were very polite and their hospitality amazed us. Then we went to Baltit fort.
It is a 300 years old fort in the hills. But now there is a beautiful market
around it, many kinds of natural herbs, precious stones and their cultural
stuff was there. In KPK for local citizens the prices are low but for visitors
the stuff is very expensive. Tourism is one of the major sources of income for
KPK. After all this shopping we came back to the hotel and at night we arranged
a bone fire and musical gathering as well, we enjoyed a lot and presented a
gift of Ajrak to the Manager of the hotel.
On the very next
day everyone got ready and the people who had any health issues were advised to
stay there and not go forward. Then we moved to Pak China border Khunjrab. On
the way a five km tunnel was there. The streams were flowing on the roads which
are dangerous for people. We reached sost, where we stayed for a while. Did our
breakfast and then we bought glasses form there. Because you cannot stay at the
Khunjrab without glass because it is too bright. We reached at KhunjRab. The
temperature was -20 and we were informed to be very cautious but luckily the
sky was clear, and we could stay out for I hour. You should have a lemon with
you at that point coz it helps in respiration. Many students felt ill at that
spot due to lack of oxygen. We stopped at Attabad lake for a while our way
back. We boated there and surged in the lake for about 15 minutes.
Then we had to
return to Hunza, rested for a little while, the next day we went to Naraan,
visited Naraan market, it was huge market there was a wide range of stuff to
purchase from. We had our dinner there. Where I bought 5000 worth of dry fruit
only for my family, the rates of the dry fruit were of the same rate as of
here, the we returned to our hotel room to spend the night.
Next day visited Lake
Saif ul Malook, we took jeeps there, and one jeep costed 5k. The place was
exceptional one, the way to the lake was threading. We did horse riding there,
did boating, and then we went back to our hotel to take some rest because then
we had to travel back to Islamabad. We said goodbye to the people that we got
to know there.
After reaching at
Islamabad, then we had to go all the way back to Lahore because we had to catch
our train form Lahore. The train was there at 10 am, we got on the train and it
took 12 hours ride back to Hyderabad successfully.
It was a wonderful
experience for us, we visited beautiful places, ate delicious foods, spent
memorable moments at fabulous places, it was one hell of an experience, the one
that can never be forgotten and always remain fresh in our memories.
